The art and design curriculum is planned based on our Kapow curriculum, and runs on a two-year rolling programme to ensure pupils receive a full curriculum offer over that period of time. Reception children have a separate curriculum, which is detailed below. Art and design is an essential part of the primary curriculum and aims to ensure all pupils have the opportunity to be creative and imaginative. Children have the opportunity to explore the work of a range of artists to evaluate, inspire and develop their own ideas.
