Physical Education (PE) - Class 2
Our Class 2 PE program is designed to help every child develop confidence, fitness, and a love for movement. We have two sessions of PE every week, with a different focus each half-term. For one term each year, our children take part in swimming lessons at Buxton Leisure Centre to build water confidence, swimming technique and water safety skills. Other PE activities include dance, yoga, and circuit training, all of which boost strength, stamina and coordination. We aim to make physical activity enjoyable and rewarding for everyone. We also teach the importance of healthy eating as part of our PE lessons, helping students understand how good nutrition supports an active lifestyle and a healthy life. Through engaging activities and positive encouragement, we aim to nurture lifelong habits for health and well-being.
