Science - Class 2
In Class 2, our Science lessons spark curiosity and inspire children to explore the world around them. Using the Kapow Primary mixed-age Curriculum, pupils develop a secure understanding of key scientific concepts while building essential skills in enquiry, observation, and investigation.
- Hands-on experiments: Children learn through practical activities that bring science to life.
- Clear progression: Each unit builds on prior knowledge, ensuring concepts are revisited and deepened.
- Cross-curricular links: Science is connected to literacy, maths, and the wider curriculum, enriching learning.
- Critical thinking: Pupils are encouraged to ask questions, test ideas, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Real-world relevance: Topics are linked to everyday life, helping children see the importance of science in society.
By the end of Key Stage 2, we aspire for our children to be confident young scientists, ready to take on the challenges of life with curiosity, resilience, and a love of discovery.
