Our Geography curriculum is based on the KAPOW curriculum, and runs on a four-year rolling programme to ensure we offer a wide range of topics, skills and knowledge progression. Geography is taught every other half-term, opposite History, which gives our children a great breadth of knowledge and chances to make links across these two essential subjects. Geographical knowledge in Class 2 builds on the fundamental geographical skills taught in Class 1, including map-reading and knowledge of countries, continents and seas; we then expand into greater detail to nurture interest and understanding of the world around us.
