Head's Welcome
Welcome to Earl Sterndale C of E Primary School
Our school, Governors and staff would like to welcome you to Earl Sterndale C of E Primary School. Our school is a small, rural village school - we are like a big family, with fabulous staff where care and respect are our watchwords, and keeping each other safe and happy is paramount. We have just two classes: Class 1 includes Reception, Year 1 and 2. Class 2 is for Years 3-6. Our vision—making good decisions together—is at the heart of everything we do. Whether we're thinking about our learning, behaviour, community, environment or safety and well-being, we focus on developing the skills and knowledge needed to evaluate the choices we face. With support from our school community, families and friends we learn to make thoughtful, informed decisions that help us grow and thrive. We aim to use our vision, alongside British Values and our deeply rooted Christian ethos, to nurture key qualities in our children: resilience, independence, curiosity, responsibility, respect, trust, compassion, tolerance and care. We strive to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child in our school. To make the most of our spectacular setting we embrace outdoor learning opportunities, and use personalised approaches wherever possible to meet the needs of every child. This is supported by a wide range of external services, helping us provide tailored, enriching experiences for all.
Please call us or pop in to have a look around.
