Complaints Procedure

Complaints Procedure - for External Complaints

 

We work closely with parents and their children during their time in our school as we have children for 3-4 years in each class. We aim for children to be happy, achieve well and to keep parents fully informed regularly, therefore it is hoped that complaints will be rare.

However, where a parent has a complaint:

 

  • It should be raised in the first instance with the class teacher and should be resolved informally if possible. This may be by telephone, email, in writing or in-person. We hope that sharing concerns at this early stage will resolve the issues and reduce the need for a formal complaint.

 

  • If the problem is not resolved, parents should make an appointment with the Headteacher and/ or may complain to the Governors in writing.
