In Geography this term, Years 1 and 2 have been learning about the British Coast. Today we did some fieldwork by visiting our local pond, and discussing activities we could do there compared with activities at the beach. We finished the lesson by deciding that, although our pond doesn’t have sandcastles or speedboats, it’s still a brilliant place to explore nature, spot wildlife and enjoy the outdoors.
