At Earl Sterndale C of E Primary School, our curriculum is broad, inclusive and values-driven, supporting children to develop the knowledge, skills and wisdom they need to make good decisions together. Rooted in the National Curriculum and shaped by our rural context, it nurtures confident learners who are well-prepared for the next stage of education and for life in modern Britain.

We use a range of high-quality schemes and resources to support excellent teaching and learning, including Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised for phonics and early reading, Pathways to Write to develop confident and creative writers, White Rose Maths to build deep mathematical understanding, and Kapow Primary to deliver foundation subjects through engaging, knowledge-rich learning.
